It&#8217;s a strange rule, isn\u2019t it?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After researching, I found that many hot springs only allow entry if you cover your small tattoo with a sticker. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For those with larger tattoos, finding a place can be quite difficult.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And even for small tattoos, the stickers often don\u2019t cover enough, making it impossible for most people to enjoy the hot springs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Recommended Tattoo-Friendly Hot Springs<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s what I discovered about how to enjoy hot springs even if you have tattoos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> I recommend guesthouses with hot springs for those with tattoos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many guesthouses with hot springs allow entry for guests with tattoos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some of my recommendations:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hakone Tent<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hakone Tent is a guesthouse with hot springs, located just a introduce a place that allows entry with tattoos, though it\u2019s more of a traditional public bath than a hot spring.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re interested in experiencing an old-fashioned bathhouse, this is the place for you.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: I haven\u2019t personally visited Daikokuyu, so I\u2019m not familiar with the atmosphere inside.<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Daikokuyu&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><span class=\"swl-marker Ward, Daikokuyu (Oshiage Onsen) is a public bathhouse that stays open all night, a first in Tokyo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can drop by without bringing anything, as they provide towels and other essentials.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides these options, there are many hotels in Japan with private baths, so that\u2019s another alternative. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether it\u2019s a bath attached to your room or a private hot spring with time restrictions, you won\u2019t have to worry about tattoos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, these options can be expensive, so if you\u2019re on a budget, I recommend staying at a guesthouse with hot springs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hopefully, the day will come when everyone, even those with tattoos, can freely enjoy hot springs in
